Experience Means Greater Accuracy
We perform a high volume of mammograms - more than 25,000 a year - on state-of-the-art digital equipment. This leads to better detection and more accurate findings for patients, as studies have shown the more mammograms a radiologist reads, the more accurate the results. Experience counts when reading mammograms.
Our mammography technologists are knowledgeable and compassionate, and strive to make patients as comfortable as possible. In addition, we offer evening hours and convenient parking at our UHC and Fanny Allen campuses.
Are You Due for a Mammogram?
If you are a woman age 40 or older and in good health, the American Cancer Society recommends you have a mammogram every year. Mammography is an important tool in early detection of breast cancer.
