Community Screenings

- Bi-annual cholesterol screenings (call for dates and times)
- Monthly blood pressure screenings the third Tuesday of each month from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon at Community Health Improvement.

Diabetes Fitness and Education

Fletcher Allen Health Care partners with the Vermont Regional Diabetes Center and the Greater Burlington YMCA to bring a free physician-referred program featuring land and water exercises for people with Diabetes.

Senior Programs

Falls & Fires Home Modification Program: Home safety assessments and modifications to seniors at no cost.
Footnoters: Volunteers offer free foot care to seniors and the disabled in a variety of community settings.
Lifeline: 24-hour, 365 days per year personal response service that enhances security and independence for seniors living at home. Financial assistance may be available for eligible clients. If local, call 847-1211 or toll-free 1-800-LIFELINE.
