In March 2007, Fletcher Allen published an update to its Community Needs Assessment.

In May 2006, Fletcher Allen conducted a follow-up survey to the Community Assessment done in 2004.  The subjective community-wide assessment was taken by over 1,050 people throughout the community and measured peoples thoughts about the best and worst aspects of the community including health care, wellness, and the community in general.
