Fletcher Allen Health Care's Nationally recognized Interventional Radiologist are here to provide minimally invasive procedures to the bodies vascular system and surrounding tissue. Utilizing advanced techniques and sophisticated imaging equipment Fletcher Allen Interventional Radiologist provide this care with the same individualized attention you have come to expect. Advanced techniques and procedures in Vascular Stenting, Stroke Intervention, Uterine Fibroid Embolization, Carotid Artery Stenting and detailed tissue biopsy are a few of these cutting edge procedures. Working with the Vermont Cancer Center our Doctors can provide Chemotherapeutic embolization treatments to select tumors. Beginning in the fall of 2008 Interventioanl Radiology will begin offering Radiation embolization treatment on select tumors of the Liver. The Interventional Radiology Division understands the importance of bringing these advanced treatment to our area so our patients can receive care here at home and not have to travel great distances to receive cutting edge care.
