Benefit for the Jarred Williams Foundation - July 26
The TD Banknorth Summer Hawaiian Cruise will begin boarding from the King Street Dock at 7:15 p.m. for a cruise from 7:30-10:30 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Jarred Williams Foundation, which supports families who have a child with a chronic illness. Urgent Summertime Need for Blood Donations
The need for blood continues through the summer months! Please call 1-800-843-3500 to make an appointment to donate blood at the American Red Cross Donor Center, 32 North Street, Burlington.
The Farmer's Market Cart
The Farmer's Market Cart is here again, featuring Great Harvest bread and foods from local vendors. The cart is located outside the McClure entrance every Thursday from 2-5 p.m.
Vermont Kidney Association Raffle for Red Sox Tickets
The Vermont Kidney Association is holding its annual benefit raffle for BOX SEAT tickets to the Boston Red Sox vs. the Texas Rangers August 13 game! The box seats are along the 3rd base side of the field. To purchase your tickets, call the Vermont Kidney Association at 847-2239, or 862-8863. There will be two grand prize winners. Each winner will receive one pair of box seat tickets. Raffle tickets are $10 each or $40 for five. The drawing will be held at the Vermont Lake Monsters game at Centennial Field on July 28 at 6:40 p.m. You do not have to be present to win! The tickets were generously donated by Union Mutual of Vermont Companies. All proceeds benefit the Vermont Kidney Association.
